It is the main course, present in all families, workers and who can take 5 minutes on the street to eat any. there is a massive list from family-owned taquerias to great restaurants and a few trucks. You can get pretty much any kind of tacos you are looking for, including
Tortillas:
The tortillas can be made with wheat flour or corn, some restaurants add a little more gourmet, and tortillas can be handmade with blue, white, purple or yellow corn, those are the tastiest; also machine tortillas are the most common.
Salsas:
In some places the salsas (sauces) are already on the table, a variety of colorful one, red, white, dark green, light green, and usually the waiters will explain to you which ones are the spicy ones starting with the mildest to the hottest. And remember If you ask if the salsa is hot they probably say no is not hot. Because hot means in Spanish the temperature of the meal and waiters always will tease you with it. So, if you want to know if the salsa is spicy, your question should be; Esta Picante la salsa? However, my recommendation is to try a little bit with a finger before adding a full spoon to your taco.
There is no dress code to eat in any of the taco restaurants, casual would be the way to go.

Los de Pescado serve very good fish and shrimp tacos prepared with the local excellent ingredients. Their concept is based seafood including fish and shrimp tacos, burritos, pescadillas, accompanied with 6 different sauces, Chipotle, Coriander, Jalapeño, habanero, garlic, and the delicious tamarind sauce. Their tortillas are great, made with yellow corn.
For drinks, fresh Jamaica flower tea, horchata, and tamarin freshwaters as well beers. The menú is very small and so good, easy to decide.
The place is small and half open-air, very hot in the summer. The food is served fast, it took 8 minutes to get our tacos on the table after we ordered and is very inexpensive.
